YOUR PROPERTY HAS BEEN ACCEPTED!

Now What?

Once you are accepted, call, email and make appointments to thank them and make sure they know that your hotel team looks forward to your partnership.

I have asked my General Manager to also call to welcome them to the hotel. It is a "WOW" factor.

Make sure that the local company knows that you have been accepted as a preferred hotel. I have seen too many times where there was no connection and the client for some reason didn't even know that your hotel had been approved.

They are creatures of habit and will continue to book at "their preferred hotel" even though they haven't even been approved. Make sure that they know.

MULTIPLE HOTELS BEING ACCEPTED

Some clients will choose more than one hotel as their preferred.

They may prefer to offer a limited property and a full service.

Maybe they want to extend choices in amenities and services for their travellers to choose from.

Or, it could be a high demand area and they want to be sure that they have several hotels in case one is sold out.

What will drive your share up and beyond, is again the Sales rapport and contact with the client. This is key to a successful and profitable partnership.
